B-3 Flight Jacket
The B-3 was issued to airmen during the 1930’s and well into World War 2. They were made of multiple pieces of sheepskin and other types of leather to make them very tough and cold resistant. When the AAF issued these jackets they had no patches, rank, names or art work on them. B-3s typically don’t have patches or nose art painted on them.
